The Death of Santa
Twas the night before Christmas,
And all through the house,
Everyone was worried,
Even the mouse.
Santa was dead,
Off came his head,
In a sleigh riding accident,
Or so Mrs. Clause said.
"The fool had been drinking,
And he wasn't thinking,"
It said in the newspaper article I read,
But some of us knew,
That they had been recently fighting,
And I didn't believe any of that newspaper writing.
From toilet seats left up,
To crumbs in the bed,
Mrs. Clause felt she had good reason to cut off his head.
And so the children watched his funeral,
Feeling very sad,
Thinking of all the presents they could have had.

"The only thing standing between me and total happiness is reality."
"Now I am just a silhouette down there, a silhouette of a memory of a solitary night .. nothing more."
"If I had one wish it would be to have no reason to make one."
thats the funniest!
